All students can learn math
We believe that all students can learn math - just not all students learn the same way or at the same pace. Maniac Mathies have been teaching math for a combined 25 years and have learned a few things along the way. Math can be fun! It doesn’t have to be all worksheets and fill in the blank. Providing students with different learning opportunities is important so that every student can be successful.
Activities students can work on together
While many of our activities and blog posts focus on individual student work, Maniac Mathies tries to provide options for how to implement activities in partners or small groups. Students are able to also learn from each other and we believe it is important to give students the ability to be the leader as well as the learner.
